Use it with a fallback
Put keenable/pro first and a model from another provider after it. If Keenable errors or times out, Mux refunds the attempt and tries the next one. You pay for the model that answered.
const res = await mux.search({
query: "open source vector databases",
models: ["keenable/pro","parallel/turbo"], // tried in order
});
console.log(res.model, res.attempts);How Keenable behaves through Mux

Keenable pro FAQ
How much does keenable/pro cost per search?
$0.0040 per request with up to 10 results ($4.00 per 1,000 requests). The price does not change with the number of results. Failed calls are refunded.
Is there a markup on Keenable's price?
No. Mux passes through Keenable's list price per request. The only fee is 5.5% (minimum $0.80) when you buy credits, or 5% of list price after 1,000,000 monthly requests when you bring your own Keenable key.
Can I use my own Keenable API key?
Yes. Store it with a management key and requests to keenable/pro are made with your key and billed by Keenable directly. The first 1,000,000 such requests a month carry no Mux fee.
What happens if Keenable is down?
If you pinned keenable/pro the request fails and you are refunded. If you passed a models list, Mux refunds the failed attempt and tries the next model in your list, so your agent still gets an answer.
