Changelog

provider_options is now allow-listed; timeouts keep the base price

  • provider_options accepts a fixed set of options per provider (Exa: category, userLocation, moderation, includeText, excludeText; Parallel: max_chars_total, client_model, advanced_settings.excerpt_settings and .location). Fields that change what a search costs or that Mux uses for filtering can no longer be set or overridden; such requests get 400 invalid_request.
  • A provider call that times out (15 s) now keeps the model's base price instead of being refunded in full, because the provider has normally completed and billed the search by then. The extra-results portion is still refunded, BYOK fees are always refunded, and the charge is shown as cost_usd on that attempt.
  • Admin dashboard for operators, sitemap.xml, and a fix to robots.txt.
